Macon County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service with no affiliation with a government body, sheriff's office, jail, or corrections department. It helps visitors locate Macon County, Illinois inmate and jail-record resources, but it is not a private investigation firm and is not a consumer reporting agency. Neither this service nor its advertising partners offers a service for a use covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
What the Service Is
This is an independent reference site. It does not own or store official Macon County jail, police, court, state, or federal records, and it cannot confirm custody, release a person, accept bond, or file a document for a visitor.

Illinois Governs
